Kelly Rowland Is InStyle

I almost didn't recognize Kelly in this glamorous outfit. She looks great, and its good to see her on the scene again since having to cancel her tour due to poor ticket sales. Kelly Rowland attended the InStyle Beauty Awards last night. This look is a perfect ten. I liked that she played down her accessories and shoes, since this dress is already so eye-catching. It keeps all the focus on her dress. 

So Not Cute

Ok I am all for being casual every once in awhile, but Tracee Ellis Ross is way to frumpy in this outfit, while walking her dog. Ladies there is way to be casual and cute at the same time. Her sweater jacket would've looked a lot better had she worn it with some bootcut jeans, instead of the 'purple rain' sweatpants. Don't use being casual as an excuse to looking crazy.

Eddie Murphy's New Style

By now everyone knows about the recent breakup between Eddie Murphy and Traci Edmonds. Well the other day Eddie was spotted out and about in Las Vegas, at the Bellagio. Here he was seen having a good time and dancing with random women. Aside from all of that, what is going on with his style? Is it me or is Eddie channeling a little Nino Brown in this outfit? All he is missing is the dookie gold chain. 

Black Fashion at 2008 Sag Awards

Forrest and Keisha Whitaker looked great on the red carpet last night at the Sag Awards. Keisha is wearing a Jenny Packham dress, and Forrest is wearing Bottega Veneta.
Vanessa Williams is my pick for best dressed last night at the Sag Awards. She is glowing in this Escada gown. Love it!
Tichina Arnold looked nice, however I am never a fan of horizontal prints. I do like the color dress she wore.
Ludacris looked very dashing on the red carpet. I love the shirt and tie combo with his suit. 
I love Taraji P. Henson, but I do not love this dress. It is not figure flattering, and it is a bit too young for her. This dress would have looked better on a teenager or someone in their 20's. The sequence on the mid-section draws more attention to that area.
Chandra Wilson's dress is not a favorite of mine, but I do like the her choice of color she wore. Once again horizontal stripes are not any woman's friend. The dress makes her look shorter than she really is. The saving grace of this look is her hair, which looks great. 

Rihanna Takes A Risk

Rihanna is pictured here arriving at the NRJ Awards that were held on Saturday. I like this dress on her, but I can't really see anyone else pulling it out. It is a fashion risk, but on her it works. The grey color of the dress also looks great on her bronzed skin tone.

Not Trendy

Over the weekend Ashanti hosted a party at Pure nightclub. Her outfit is cute, but a bit outdated. We have all seen this look before. She is wearing trends that have seen better days. The wide belt it out, and red with black and white is out. Overall cute, but not on trend. 

Tyra Needs To Feed Her

Jaslene, the cycle 8 winner of America's Next Top Model, looks way too skinny. This picture is borderline sickening. Tyra needs to stop promoting skinny girls like she does on her show. Can there for once be a model of a helathy size, who eats, and does not smoke to stay thin? Jaslene seems to be naturally thin, but this dress does absolutely nothing for her body type. There is to much fabric, and the low back that exposes her back bones is not chic. 

Cute As Usual

Christina Milian hosted the Cielo Garden and Supper Club one year anniversary in Miami. Her khaki dress looked very cute, and often times khaki dresses are not that chic. Scene Stealer of the Week

Sanaa Lathan is the scene stealer of the week. Here she attended the premiere of Raisin in the Sun in Sundance. Sanaa is right on trend with this look. Wide belts are so last season and it is all about the skinny belt. Use a skinny belt to chinch in the waist to create an hourglass shape. This cranberry color dress looks great on her skin tone, and the dress fits her like a glove. 

Navajo Style

Keyshia Cole attended a hand print ceremony at Planet Hollywood yesterday, with the cast of the new movie, How She Move. Her outfit is ok.  She does look cute, however this fashion look is a bit to matchy matchy. The yellow boots are bit too much, and the long hanging necklace seems out of place with the entire look.

They're Back !!!

Diddy's platinum girl group, Danity Kane is back. Season 5 of Making the Band premieres on January 28, 2008. Viewers will see the girls and the guys from last season record their albums, and live together under the same roof. The girls from Danity Kane look good on the cover of King. I really hope their next album is just as good or better than their first album. 

Cassie's Sky High Boots

Here is Cassie at the Pepsi Smash re-launch party. Personally I think Cassie would make a far better model than singer. She looks great here. Few could pull of this outfit, but she does it very well. The boots are definitely show stoppers, and are very cat-woman-esque. 

Pharrell's New Jewelry Line

Pharrell is definitely making moves in the fashion industry, and his next move is the launch of his new jewelry line, Blason. Pharrell has designed this new line for Louis Vuitton, and items in this collection range between $2,000 to $600,000. Pharrell is pictured above with a custom-made Louis Vuitton jacket, that he wore to a party in Paris to launch the Blason collection. 

Erykah's Cover Style

Here is Erykah Badu's new album cover. Although her fashion style can be questionable sometimes, she is always original. This cover is so unique and stylish. Erykah's album will drop on February 26, 2008.

John Legend Is A Gentleman

Recently John Legend was spotted with his girlfriend, model Christine Teigen. It is so cute to see the grammy winner locking arms with his girl, guiding her down the street. The most fashionable stand out item between this couple was Christine's cute slouch boots. I found similar ones pictured above for $269.95 from Endless.com. Kim Is Haute

Kim Kardashian looks so fashionable in this picture. Meagan Good should have taken some notes on how to dress while at Sundance. When Bangs Attack

Can you guess who this is? It's hard to say why Rihanna allowed her bangs to block her vision as she was leaving Barney's in New York, but she still looks chic outfit wise. Once again you can never go wrong with all black, and the pop of color from her handbag makes this a very edgy yet classy look.

Halle's New Do

Halle is about to pop, but it seems the mother to be is sporting a new hair do. It is cute and playful, and Halle can make almost any hair style work. She looks really stylish in this chocolate brown empire waist top, which not only shows off her growing belly but also her growing chest size. She is the hottest pregnant woman of the moment. 

Meagan's Fashion Lost In Space

Meagan Good is pictured here attending the Sundance Film Festival. I am not really sure what she is promoting here, or if she is just kidding around. Whatever the case she should have re-thought wearing that jacket. Sundance is a place where celebrities wear the hottest winter fashion, and this outer space jacket is not hot. It looks like something an eight year old boy would wear. Anyways I wonder if she was promoting a new movie of hers at the film festival, it has been awhile since she has been in something.

Fab or Drab?

Ashanti was also in attendance at the Michael Jordan Celeb Golf Tournament. Maybe it's the wide stance she is posing in, but I am not sure about her outfit. I do love her shoes, and accessories. What do you think? Is Ashanti Fab or Drab?

Scene Stealer

Gabrielle is this week's scene stealer. She looks absolutely great in this dress, and the sea foam green is a lovely color on her. The yellow hater neck ties really lighten up her face. Gabrielle is in great shape, and that is the main reason this dress looks so good on her. Here Gabrielle was attending the 7th Annual Michael Jordan Celeb Invitational Golf Tournament. 

Jurnee Looks Great-Always

The Great Debater's star, Jurnee Smollett wore this ensemble to BAFTA/L.A.'s 14th Annual Award Show Tea Party. Whoever her stylist is really knows how to make her stand out. The dress is sophisticated and playful. Its good to see that she went light on the accessory side. The scene stealing item in this picture are her shoes, they are so cute and a bit gladiator-esque. 

Kimora Gets Personal

Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou will be giving the public a look into their relationship in the February issue of Harper's Bazaar. The style icon and dashing actor are Hollywood's new "it" couple. They both look happy and sexy in this shot. I love the shoes that Kimora is wearing, and the crisp white dress shirt is so classy and chic.

Milian Goes Reptile.

Christina is really doing her thing in the style department. She looks great, and really knows what looks good on her. Here she is on her way to a meeting at the Four Seasons. Of course you can never go wrong in a classic black dress, and the reptile accessories make this ensemble a little wild. I love her Christian Louboutin snake skin shoes. They really make the outfit.

BET Red Carpet Chic

Here are some of the red carpet winners from the BET Honors award show, which was held at the D.C. Warner Theater. Vivica Fox chose a great jeweled tone royal blue dress. It looks great on her skin complexion.
Another jeweled toned maven, Kerry Washington looked divine in this strapless gown. By the way f.y.i. one shouldered dresses and tops are very trendy right now and will be appearing on a lot of clothing items this season.
This is one of the most glamorous looks I have seen on Keyshia Cole. The long split in her dress is sexy yet classy, and the color looks good on her.
Alicia Keys is a red siren in this gown. I love the collar on this dress, and red really makes her stand out. The silver clutch and bracelet she is wearing add subtle touches of elegance to her look. Her choice of hair style is very interesting, and makes her look older than she really is. Overall she looks gorgeous. 

Beyonce's 80's Style

Here is Beyonce walking the streets of Manhattan, and it appears that Dereon is really feelin' neon colors. The clothing is semi-cute, and would perhaps look better on a teenager. I do really wish for once Beyonce could relax a bit on wearing heels all the time. This outfit would have gone better had she worn some cute sneakers. Pastry sneakers are cute for females, and come in a variety of colors. Beyonce should've asked the creators of Pastry, Angela and Vanessa Simmons for a free pair to go with her 80's inspired look. On a plus side Beyonce does look more beautiful when she is wearing less makeup.

Cover Style Chic

Halle Berry and Tyra Banks grace the covers of Essence and In Style for the month of February. Both women look great, and prove that beauty does certainly get better with age. Tyra looks a bit devilish, and Halle is glowing all over. 

A Wild Premiere

Last night was the premiere of First Sunday, a new movie starring Ice Cube and Tracy Morgan. The red carpet was wild with leopard print, and it was all wrong. The top that Elise Neal is wearing  does nothing for her figure, and the long tie sash in the front is doing way to much. Also she is committing a big fashion don't, never wear animal print on top and on your shoes at the same time. It just looks tacky. Kelis' haircut is cute, and I do like the  baby blue color on her, however that leopard bag does not go well with her outfit. A dark brown bag would've suited this look better.

Court Side Chic

It is really nice to see Kanye West out and about, and looking happier. Beyonce and Jay-Z have been a great support, and great friends to him in his time of need. The trio took in a Nets game yesterday, and all of them looked great. I am really glad to see that Beyonce is still rockin' the darker hair color. I do think the boots she is wearing would've looked better had she worn skinny jeans, instead of boot cut. 

Banned: Boots With Fur

Ladies pay attention for an important announcement. Fur boots are out! Yes they were the rage for the past couple of seasons, but the time has come to give them a break. I love Mary but I am not loving the boots she wore to the Mad Money movie premiere. The big trend in boots right now are the riding boots. These offer a classic look and come in a variety of styles and colors. Mary's outfit would've looked a lot better if she wore some dark brown leather riding boots, with a 2 inch heel.
